This made my day so, so much better.

He was basically a spoiled rich kid who never had a real job in his life.
First he mooched off his parents, then he mooched off Engels, and whatever inheritance was left to him. Very rarely was he ever down on his luck. For most of his life he lived in the upper 5% of society.
Not very proletarian of him.
